These lovely purple and white dahlias have smaller blooms around 1-2" in diameter, and also a shorter stem length than other dahlias we grow.
Stem length averages 9" - 12". Get longer stems through hard pinching early in the season and deep watering during the summer.
We love this variegated purple, and find that the smaller blooms actually add to the usefulness of this flower - it is perfect for shorter arrangements or bouquets that need a small pop of purple/lavender.
We will sell our excess tubers after we divide them late winter and warm them up in order to barely pre-sprout them and confirm the viability of each.
Please fill out this email contact form and type DAHLIA TUBERS in the subject line to be the first to know when we have tubers ready in the spring.
